Our exclusive spare keys are made just for us by a specialist clockwork toy manufacturer. This is the key that fits the vast majority of wind-up jokes and novelties, regardless of when and where they were manufactured. The second picture shows a small selection of vintage jokes these keys work with (these jokes are not included).
 
These have a hollow shaft which fits around the most common size of pin found on these jokes (a little over 2mm by 2mm). They are slightly asymmetrical, as the originals were, to provide a better grip. 
 
As well as fitting most wind-up jokes and novelties, these are also the standard size for the majority of tin toys.
